TROTTIN' SALLY (GEORGE MULLINS)

George Mullins, known as Trottin' Sally, was an African American fiddler from Spartanburg, SC. He was a well known local figure in Spartanburg County during the early part of the 1900s. He was known for racing trains along the track. He said that he made his own fiddle, which he named Rosalie. Trottin' Sally died in 1931 at the age of 76. No recordings of him are known to exist.
